Every year, Davids Engineering welcomes a group of college students to work alongside our team members on various projects for the summer. This provides the students with hands on experience and provides DE support and fresh ideas. We want to take some time to highlight this year’s interns.
Addie Scott is a student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo studying Agricultural Business. As an intern at DE, Addie has been exposed to a multitude of projects, office tasks and field work! She’s visited project sites, learned to operate water measurement technology, observed accounting practices and has been immersed in integral project management platforms, expanding her views of water, infrastructure, and technology in the business realm of California.
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
Raised in Butte County, I’ve grown up showing livestock, exploring the outdoors and embarking on various agricultural endeavors! Now, attending Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo as an Agricultural Business major my perspective of California’s natural resources has only flourished. From hiking, going to the beach, or working cattle on Cal Poly’s beautiful ranches, I value time spent outdoors learning, growing and appreciating our collective connection to nature.
