Davids Engineering is proud to announce that Katie Klug is this year’s recipient of the Byron A. Clark Excellence of Character Award. The Byron A. Clark award is an annual award given to recognize DE team members who consistently display exceptional character in the way they live their life and conduct their work and professional relationships.
Recipients of the award are recognized for being kind, honest, respectful, trustworthy, hardworking, thoughtful, courteous, cheerful, helpful and brave.
Katie was nominated by a fellow team member and ultimately selected as she consistently excels in her work and is always a kind and thoughtful team member. She is willing to help whenever asked and will always go the extra mile when needed. Katie serves as one of our water facilitators and is a great technical writer for many of the planning efforts DE works on for clients.
The Byron A. Clark Excellence of Character Award was named after our late friend and team member who was not only a talented and hardworking engineer, but also a warm, caring and thoughtful person who prioritized honesty and integrity in everything he did. It’s because of his exemplary traits that a character award is a fitting part of honoring Byron’s legacy. This award also formally acknowledges these values as important components of DE’s culture.
